Public Advisory

The NBRO has urged residents in these high-risk areas to remain vigilant and take immediate precautions, as heavy rains can trigger landslides with little warning.

Key Safety Measures:

  • Avoid Dangerous Areas: Stay clear of slopes, riverbanks, and unstable terrain.
  • Stay Informed: Monitor local disaster management announcements and weather updates.
  • Prepare for Evacuation: Secure valuables, gather essential supplies, and plan for quick access to shelters.

Authorities have been directed to prioritize safety measures and develop evacuation plans to minimize risks to life and property.

Stay Updated

For further updates, residents are encouraged to follow announcements from the NBRO and the Disaster Management Center (DMC). Local divisional secretariats are also available to provide assistance and guidance during this critical period.

Conclusion

With landslide warnings in place for high-risk regions, residents must remain alert and take proactive measures to ensure their safety. Timely action and coordination between the public and authorities can help mitigate the impact of potential landslides.
