commission report that former MP Udaya Gammanpila has indicated he intends to

Father Gamini emphasized that the Church never requested the former president to appoint an investigative committee for the Easter attacks. He also urged Gammanpila to refrain from interfering in the ongoing investigations, stressing that the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) should be allowed to conduct its work thoroughly and independently.
