The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco) has announced adjustments to fuel prices, effective from midnight on March 31. The latest revisions reflect changes in the global oil market and aim to provide some relief to consumers facing rising living costs.

Specifically, the price of Petrol 95 Octane has been reduced by Rs. 7, bringing it down to Rs. 440 per litre. Similarly, Super Diesel prices have been slashed by Rs. 72, now priced at Rs. 386 per litre. Additionally, the price of Kerosene has been decreased by Rs. 12, setting it at Rs. 245 per litre.

On the other hand, the prices for Petrol 92 Octane and Auto Diesel will remain steady, as confirmed by the CPC. Here's a summary of the revised fuel prices:

Petrol Octane 92: Rs. 371 per litre

Petrol Octane 95: Rs. 440 per litre

Auto Diesel: Rs. 363 per litre

Super Diesel: Rs. 386 per litre

In a related development, Lanka IOC has announced its intention to align its retail fuel prices with Ceypetco's revised rates. This move indicates a coordinated approach within the fuel industry to maintain competitive pricing and offer consistent value to consumers across the country.
