Nidahasa Janatha Sabawa Joins SJB in Alliance MOU Signing

 


 

A faction of the Nidahasa Janatha Sabawa (Freedom People's Front) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) to establish a collaborative alliance.

The agreement was formalized through the signatures of six Members of Parliament during a ceremony at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH). Among the signatories was Professor G. L. Peiris, a seasoned politician and former Minister of External Affairs, known for his academic background and articulate oratory skills. He was joined by Dilan Perera, a prominent political figure with a strong presence in Sri Lankan politics, and Nalaka Godahewa, an economist and former Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka.

G. L. Peiris began his political career, emerging as a prominent figure within the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP).
